I was at the grocery store and saw that rockfish was on sale and was the cheapest fresh fish. I had never heard of rockfish before so I figured “why not?”. It just looked like a white fish and I figured I could find a recipe online. And I found this one, so I bought all of the ingredients and away I went.
I love fajitas and have been craving them for the longest time (I have to drive by Lonestar Bar and Grill every day on my way home and it is almost like torture). So I decided to pick up some of these key ingredients and make my own at home!
This recipe is a nice light dish to make on a hot summer night as a meal for 4 people or appetizers for 6 (the recipe makes 12 rolls). You want to make sure you have everything prepped and organized before you start cooking because the individual cook times are very short and as long as you are ready, you can go pretty fast. Once everything is cooked, you can even have everyone make their own rolls (less work for you!).
Simple, easy comfort food. Tons of veggies, sausage and plenty of flavour. This is also my first recipe using fennel.
Guess who bought pork on sale again… I never liked pork chops much as a kid but this recipe makes them taste a little better, thanks to Martha Stewart.
I had tons of potatoes at home and didn’t know what to do with all of them. So I decided to make this wonderful veggie filled Swiss casserole. The meal even got the approval of my boyfriend’s grandmother while she was in town visiting us.
I love steak fajitas and it is about time I make some for myself. The stir fry veggies are very tasty and the steak was cooked perfectly. I just need to learn how to slice steak better.
Quick and easy meal to throw together on a busy night. The beef can marinate while getting the veggies ready, saving on time.
The sweet chili sauce on the pork chops is so tasty and amazing! And the best part is that the entire meal is cook in one skillet… That means less dishes!
Best beef slow cooker recipe I think so far! Super tasty and really easy to make. I mean, common, it’s a slow cooker recipe! Who doesn’t love slow cooker recipes? And the broccoli stays a little crisp too since it is added near the end.
